Canada Bound - Day 22 ended up being quite an unexpected adventure. Our original plan was to visit Mount Revelstoke National Park and then camp just outside the park. We were eager to drive the Meadows in the Sky scenic road to the top of Mount Revelstoke but it was so foggy and rainy we couldn't see much of anything. Not wanting to camp in the rain we decided to just retrace the last part of our route and head to Salmon Arm for the night. This would really cut our drive the next day to Blue River. As it turned out, less than 2 hours after we passed by, there was a landslide and flooding that closed the Trans Canada highway for about a week. If we hadn't made that last minute change to our plan, it would have meant a 300 mile detour to get to our next destination. Pierre's Point Campground was on a large lake and offered a Passport America discount.
