Dauset Trails Nature Center is free to the public although they do accept donations. They are open 7 days a week. Their mission statement is "to provide quality environmental education, outdoor recreation, and an understanding of early farm life through close and intimate contact with Georgia's preserved flora and fauna".
They have live native mammals, birds of prey and reptile exhibits, farm animals with barn, blacksmith shop,tenant house,country store,and cane syrup area. The property includes over 20 miles of hiking and biking trails as well as 10 miles of horse riding trails. They have a woodland garden and tree ID trail. They offer camping for organized groups.
